Korzen Health is collaborating with Healogics to recruit a fulltime Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for their Post Acute Care program in the Pontiac IL market area. The position requires fulltime weekday coverage for postacute care.
For over 25 years Healogics has been treating patients with chronic wounds from over 600 hospitalbased wound care centers across the country. Currently Healogics treats over 300000 wound care patients annually and has healed nearly 4 million wounds. Healogics is the worlds leading expert in wound healing.
This opportunity is exclusively within our Post Acute Care Program and involves 100% Wound Care. There are no night oncall or weekend shifts and there is no need to secure new contracts due to existing business at this location.
The position is procedurebased primarily serving geriatric patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. A minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience is required with procedural or Post Acute Care experience preferred. Acceptable examples of procedural experience may include suturing incision and drainage biopsies and debridement. Paid training is provided.
Scope of Practice Highlights
- Responsibilities include administering fundamental wound care including dressing changes and chemical debridement alongside select minor procedures.
Providers typically see an average of 1520 patients per day.

Experience Requirements
Clean and Active State license
Must be a Certified Nurse Practitioner
DEA License
Minimum of 1 year of NP experience is a must
Must have procedure experience simple sutures I&Ds...
