What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wound Care - Nurse Practitioner - Full-Time position at Korzen Health?
Korzen Health is working with Healogics in regards to adding a Full-Time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to the program in the Rockingham, NC 28379 and Raeford, NC 28376 market area.
Scope of Practice Includes:
This opportunity includes working in our outpatient wound care clinic. This is a 100% Wound Care Center position. No nights. No on-call. No weekend work. Our center hours are M-F from 8-4 pm. All pt's are by appointment only. No walks ins. Our center is a part of FirsthHealth Hoke C Hosp and FH Richmond Hospital. You will be employed by Healogics.
This is a procedure based environments. Mostly geriatric pts. This is a well established center, fully staffed. You need at least 1 year of NP experience. You need to have at least 1 year of procedural NP experience. Minor procedures such us suturing and I&Ds will count. Procedural case logs will be required as part of our credentialing process.
Our Wound Care Center includes:
- Full Team- Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, Front end and back end support. Great Work Flow!
- Provider will do Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
- Provider will average around 20-25 encounters per day, with a majority of wound care and less than 5% Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
- We offer advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including:
- Cellulitis therapy
- Compression therapy
- Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
- Infection management and prevention
- Wound cleaning
- Wound dressing
- EMR is EPIC/IHEAL
- Monday-Friday 8am-4pm- 40 hours a week
- No Nights, No Call, No weekends.
- Compensation Model is base salary. Plus bonus
- You will work with Adult and Geriatric patients.

Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Experience Requirements:
- Clean and Active State license
- Must be a Certified Nurse Practitioner
- DEA License
- 1 year of NP experience is a must
- Must have procedure experience - simple sutures, I&D's...
Benefits Include:
- Compensation is a mixture of Solid Base Salary & Quarterly Bonus. Base Bonus=Range of $115K-$155K/year
