Position Overview: One of our client is seeking a Brand General Manager to lead our newly acquired skincare brand in New York. This role is pivotal in steering the brand's transformation and growth within the competitive US market. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in the skincare industry, a proven track record in to lead the brand/company of growing, a dynamic leader with a proven track record which including the implementation of global strategy and vision, driving business growth, and achieving financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:
- Develop and execute global strategy to strengthen beauty market.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability, ensuring the achievement of annual budget targets and long-term financial goals.
- Oversee the implementation of global product line strategies, pricing systems, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure effective price control and market competitiveness.
Brand Building & Market Positioning:
- Ensure the consistent implementation of the brand’s visual identity (VI) across all global channels to deliver a clear and cohesive customer experience.
- Build and manage a global brand communication matrix, coordinating PR teams worldwide to amplify brand voice and presence.
Sales and Distribution:
- Develop and manage sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key distributors and retailers.
Team Building and Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
Operational Excellence:
- Establish and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
Financial Management:
- Manage the brand's budget and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide accurate financial forecasts and reports to the executive team.
Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, suppliers, and industry partners, to build strong relationships and secure support for the brand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the skincare industry, with a proven track record in P&L management.
- Extensive network of local beauty and media resources, with the ability to leverage these connections for brand growth.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Global mindset with a deep understanding of the nuances of luxury consumer behavior in both Eastern and Western markets. Especially US market as a domain market, while other market to expand
- Strong brand-building expertise and a passion for creating innovative, high-end beauty products.
- Exceptional resource integration and strategic planning skills, with the ability to navigate complex markets and drive results.
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial management.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
