Position: Cable Technician
Type: 1099 contract
Compensation: Weekly pay ranging from $1200-$1700 (experienced techs can earn up to $2000/week)
Benefits: Training allowance, weekly paycheck
Responsibilities: As a Cable Technician, you will:
- Run cables from poles and inside homes (including climbing poles and working in basements) - must be physically fit to carry a 28 ft ladder
- Verify signal levels on cable outlets
- Provide TV, Internet, and Phone services for our customers
- Install equipment (modems, cable boxes)
- Troubleshoot issues
Requirements:
- Own a white VAN or pickup truck (leasing option available)
- Previous experience as a cable technician (preferably, but not required)
- Active driver’s license
- Valid Social Security Number
- iPhone/iPad for using the app to receive orders
- Conversational English (other languages are welcome but not required)
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to carry heavy objects (such as a 28 ft ladder)
