Duties and Responsibilities
- Verifying patient insurance – both medical and dental.
- Verify authorization for MRI and CT scans.
- Accurately calculate surgery deposits and copays based on individual insurance.
- Document effective notes for each patient.
- Enjoy interacting with patients and working in a team environment.
- Focused on details and the ability to stay organized.
- Medical billing and insurance experience is required.
- Oral Surgery and/or Dental experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Must be detailed oriented, accurate, and reliable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and collaboratively.
- Follow protocols and guidelines as they relate to patient privacy (HIPAA/OSHA).
