Kosmos Group is looking for a MicroStation Drafter / Designer to join our team in our San Diego or Arcadia office. This is a hybrid position, working three days in office and two days from home. Specific areas of responsibilities are provided below.
Job Description
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to design and draft different drawings and maps for construction projects
- Drafting will primarily include civil and electrical-related drawings for transmission, distribution and substation projects
- Create and modify drawings from engineer-provided markups
- Produce work / plan redline markup and comments
- Take ownership of the quality and accuracy of one’s work
- Work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Interact and work together with other teams to provide integrated services and support
- Preparation of design packages including plotting, printing, and submittals
- Additional duties as assigned

This position's hourly rate range approximation is $30-$45, depending on numerous factors such as applicable experience, skills, knowledge, credentials, geographical location, etc.
