Summary:

The parent company, Kotaco, is a growing fuel and propane distributor with employees in 7 states. This is a full-time position at Skip’s NAPA store with benefits, working approximately 40 hrs per week plus some overtime.

We seek a highly motivated, positive individual with excellent customer service skills to represent the company in a public customer service role.

Responsibilities:

The NAPA Auto Parts store in Northwood wants to add to their Parts Counter Person staff. Experience in automotive parts sales is strongly preferred.

· Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish

· Communicate with customer on parts status

· Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a high level of service to internal and external customers

· Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts

· Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information

· Review Body Shop estimates to be sure that the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate

· Pulls and fills orders from stock

· Notifies the Store Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention

· Locates out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submits an emergency order, if necessary

· Makes sure that all internal requests for parts are billed properly

· Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization

· Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up

Qualifications:

· Must be authorized to work in the United States

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment

· Must have strong organizational and time management skills

· Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

· Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
