Position Overview:
The Hendrum Convenience Store Manager works closely with the Regional Manager to ensure the overall success and operation of the convenience store and deli. This person is an influential staff leader, and role model, who provides guidance, support, and motivation. This person will be hands-on as a co-worker.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work closely with the Regional Manager regarding staff, inventory, and operations
- Help the Regional Manager with budgeting and monitoring margins
- The Store Manager is a hands-on co-worker, staff leader and role model.
- Train new and existing employees
- Work with staff to ensure assigned tasks are completed
- Help ensure the store and deli meet state health and safety regulations
- Support the maintenance of a safe and clean work environment
- Provide excellent customer service and help ensure it is part of the culture
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and motivate a staff
- Related experience and the ability to understand the business and technical aspects of the job
- Patience to teach and train
- Enjoy the challenge of multitasking
- Be the ideal team player, blending humility, passion for the work, and emotional intelligence
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
