Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Ability to take customers take out orders on our POS system.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu offerings and making reservations as needed.
- Support guest relations by addressing any concerns or questions promptly and courteously.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with system or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required. (Can learn)
- A background in hospitality, particularly in restaurant or hotel settings, is highly desirable.
- Excellent phone etiquette to provide a welcoming experience for callers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine desire to help others and enhance the overall guest experience through outstanding customer service skills.
