Kottemann Orthodontics is growing! We are looking to hire on a passionate, driven, and caring Orthodontic Assistant (Licensed Dental Assistant) who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Orthodontic field. This is a Full-Time position with competitive pay and great benefits!
THIS POSITION WOULD BE PRIMARILY BASED OUT OF OUR ORONO AND CHASKA LOCATIONS, WITH THE POSSIBILITY TO FILL IN AT OUR MAPLE GROVE AND PLYMOUTH LOCATIONS!

- Associate degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission of Dental Accreditation is required.
- Current and valid Minnesota state Dental Assisting license is required.
- Orthodontic Experience Preferred but not required.
- Dolphin Management Experience Preferred but not required.
- Assist orthodontists during orthodontic procedures, including placing and removing orthodontic brackets, archwires, and bands.
- Take accurate scans/impressions of patients' teeth for the creation of orthodontic appliances.
- Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide instructions for appliance care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment charts, progress notes, and digital imaging.
