Position Overview:

The VP of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for leading and scaling our go-to-market strategy with a focus on selling into large health systems, risk-bearing entities, and payers. This individual will report directly to the CEO and will drive net-new revenue growth while helping to build a scalable sales function.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Sales Execution & Deal Closing
  • Own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to contract execution for hospital systems, payers, and post-acute networks
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand Kouper’s footprint within health systems, ACOs, and payer networks
  • Lead high-value enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, including hospital CFOs, CIOs, CMOs, and VP-level decision-makers
  • Manage complex procurement and contracting processes, including navigating RFPs, value-based payment discussions, and pilot expansions
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving reimbursement models (e.g., value-based care, risk-sharing agreements, and readmission penalties)
  • Work alongside Strategy and Product teams to inform roadmap priorities based on customer feedback
  • Monitor competitor activity and articulate Kouper’s differentiation to prospective customers
  • Sales Team Scaling
  • Build, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team as Kouper scales
  • Establish sales playbooks, KPIs, and performance metrics to optimize team effectiveness
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Strategy, Operations, and Product teams to drive retention and expansion opportunities


Qualifications

  • 7 years of enterprise healthcare sales experience, preferably selling into hospitals, payers, or ACOs
  • Deep existing relationships with health system and payer executives (C-suite, VP-level, and clinical leadership)
  • Proven track record of closing multi-million dollar enterprise deals with health systems
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (e.g., IT, clinical, operations, finance)
  • Understanding of healthcare incentive structures, risk-based contracting, and value-based care models


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into Medicare Advantage, ACOs, or provider-sponsored health plans
  • Background in transitions of care, patient engagement, or AI-driven clinical workflow automation
  • Prior leadership experience in a Series A/B healthcare startup
  • Comfort with articulating value proposition for cutting edge GenAI use cases to healthcare audiences
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred but not required

Salary : $150,000 - $190,000
