Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop Detailed Schedules: Create and manage comprehensive construction schedules for all stages of the project, from planning to completion, ensuring that tasks are outlined and deadlines are met.
- Monitor and Update Schedules: Regularly update the project schedule based on project progress, delays, and changes in scope. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of schedule adjustments.
- Coordinate with Teams: Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, general contractors, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure alignment of schedules with the overall project goals.
- Track Milestones: Identify project milestones and ensure that tasks are completed on time. Monitor any risks to the timeline and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide Reports: Generate regular reports on project progress, including schedule updates, potential delays, and any concerns or risks to project timelines.
- Identify Risks: Anticipate potential issues that could cause delays in the schedule, such as material shortages, labor shortages, or weather conditions, and proactively develop solutions to mitigate risks.
- Review Contracts and Specifications: Review project contracts and specifications to ensure schedules reflect the project's scope, terms, and conditions.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Serve as the point of contact for schedule-related matters and ensure that project stakeholders are kept informed about schedule changes.
