The marketing coordinator will work closely with an experienced team who wants them to learn and grow with the Kowalski organization. This person will work closely with vendors, brokers and customers to identify opportunities for growth, optimize product assortment, pricing, and distribution strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Collect market intelligence and research.
- Maintain a detailed calendar of marketing activities and events, ensuring that all deadlines are met, and post analysis is completed
- Coordinating with our sales & marketing agency to execute various marketing initiatives and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Collaborating with business development team leaders to strategize, coordinate, and produce proposals, presentation decks, and qualifications packages
- You will also work closely with vendors, brokers, and retail stores to ensure effective communication and scheduling of vendor days and special events
- Make decisions with limited guidance and possess strong communication skills; both written and verbal, in a flat organization.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, good problem-solving ability and the ability to develop workable solutions.
- Collaborating with business development team leaders to strategize, coordinate, and produce proposals, presentation decks, and qualifications packages
- Composing, editing, proofreading, formatting, and producing marketing / sales collateral Interfacing with management and technical teams to generate compelling marketing materials that communicate the company’s value proposition
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years CPG/Retail experience is required.
- POS, syndicated, & card data (ex. Stratum, Circana, Nielsen) experience.
- Multiplatform social media (ex: Facebook, Instagram, etc.) experience including analytics platforms (ex: Hootsuite, Loomly, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- eCommerce experience with Walmart.com, Amazon, Faire.com, Instacart, etcRetail industry knowledge: Understanding of retail operations, sales cycles, and category management principles
- Market research skills: Ability to gather and interpret market data to identify trends and customer preferences
- Communication skills: Effectively communicating complex data insights to diverse stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills: Identifying issues and developing actionable solutions based on data analysis
- Microsoft Office proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools
WORK HOURS: This is a full-time position. The demands of the business dictate flexibility regarding schedule; therefore, Saturday work can be part of the position. An average workday will consist of 8 hours per day, starting at 7:00 a.m. (start times can be subject to change).
