KP Aviation, an international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets, is searching for the next key member of our team! The Information Technology (IT) Manager will manage network administration, systems performance, employee onboarding/offboarding processes, and IT support/help desk operations. This is a managerial/people leadership position responsible for coordinating, planning, performing, triaging, and resolving various software and hardware-related activities. The role also involves assisting with IT/IS needs and implementing systems to meet organizational requirements.
The Manager of IT will oversee daily system upkeep, performance monitoring, updates, and migrations. Additionally, they will lead a team of IT support staff who provide assistance to a global workforce.

Your role will take you to new heights, as you will be tasked with these essential job responsibilities:
- Coaches/develops small team of IT professionals to assist in their development and growth.
- Monitor staff performance and drives performance improvement initiatives to ensure that service levels meet or exceed agreed upon standards.
- Oversees IT support and help desk operations, ensuring timely and thorough resolution.
- Manages and maintains IT ticket management system, inclusive of governance, processes, and measurement.
- Manages Windows desktops, applications, cloud-based services, printers, and other devices in-person and remotely.
- Manages and provides technical expertise, guidance, and leadership to KPA and various key stakeholders across the organization.
- Accountable for processes and governance of IT inventory.
- Defines, builds, and maintains IT documentation of policy and procedures, standards, best practices, settings, and installations, incident management, problem management, change management, and asset management.
- Monitors performance and deployment execution and proactively develops recommendations on improvements and efficiencies for process and programmatic changes.
- Handle customer expectations (both internal staff and residents) regarding IT services, identify gaps between customer needs and IT capabilities, and find innovative solutions to bridge those gaps.
- Maintains user licenses and upgrade schedules for hardware.
- Offers occasional after-hours support/on-call availability for international employees.
- Monitors performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
- Vendor management to coordinate with key vendors to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, holding them accountable for SLAs.
- Own and facilitate timely root cause analysis for community level severity 1 and 2 outages, including follow-up communication to affected team members.
- Develops a deep understanding of technical infrastructure across all communities, including core applications, network connectivity, and service issues.
- Troubleshoots hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
- Performs any other requests or duties as assigned.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience managing a team, both onsite and remote, across a global environment.
- Expertise in computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and phone systems.
- Knowledge of Salesforce preferred but not required
- Extensive knowledge of network hardware and LAN/WAN configurations
- Knowledge of SQL and database management
- Strong skills supporting the Windows 11 desktop operating system in a domain environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, and Intune
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize competing priorities.
- Occasional ability to work outside normal business hours – we support an international operation!
- Ability to remain confidential, impartial, and professional always – with great access comes great responsibility.
- Strong communicator to manage various levels of the organization – we support various users with differing levels of technology savviness.

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, ComputerScience, Information Systems,or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years of Information Technology, Technology and Operations experience
- 4 years of managing people and a team
- Experience leading and managing Information projects and Information System infrastructure implementations and modifications.
- Experience in Salesforce and Azure based applications and systems.
