We are seeking a Folder Supervisor (2nd Shift) to join our team at KP LLC.
Job Summary:
KP is looking for an experienced individual to oversee the daily operations of our 2nd shift team in our Riverton facility. As a Folder Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising staff, planning work schedules, and ensuring production goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise staff and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Participate in daily Operations meetings to understand customer workflow and job requirements.
- Work closely with Production Control to understand workflow priorities and requirements.
- Operate and observe machines to detect malfunctions throughout the production run and ensure operation of machines by calling for repairs, if needed.
- Maintain and update maintenance records.
- Ensure team members have adequate materials, tools, and supplies.
- Train team members to ensure compliance with company policies, SOP's, and safety and quality procedures.
- Assist the VP of Facility in decision-making process of personnel issues.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years related experience understanding and working with Digital Imaging, Bindery, Mail, and/or finishing machines; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong working knowledge of basic color and print experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Strong verbal, written, and listening skills; ability to read, understand, and follow SOP's.
- Clearly communicates detailed instructions.
- Handles multiple projects simultaneously and uses self-management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize work activities to use time efficiently.
- Reviews all work carefully for completeness and accuracy.
- Identifies problems in a timely manner with possible solutions.
- Ability to lead and work in a team environment; helps and supports all employees in their work; shares expertise with others.
- Good interpersonal skills to get along with employees and work effectively with others.
