SUMMARY :
The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for providing nutritional care and education for hospitalized patients of all ages, including infants, toddlers, early and middle childhood, adolescent, middle adulthood, and geriatrics, as well as for outpatients referred by Chapman Medical Staff physicians. The Dietitian is responsible for maintaining open communication with nurses, physicians, and other health care team members regarding the nutritional concerns of patients. The Dietitian is responsible for participating with the Food Service Director in the development of nutrition-related policies and procedures pertinent to clinical areas, and in providing quality patient care. This position has the responsibility for interacting with the following age groups : pediatric, adolescent through geriatric. REQUIREMENTS : o Minimum Experience : 6 months experience preferred o Required License / Certifications : Current CA RD License or RDA eligible, BLS and MAB Certificate (90 days upon hire) required
