KPC Promise Hospital of Phoenix The Director of Rehab Services is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and leading all aspects of Therapy Services. He/She will oversee the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy programs, management of staff, establishment of policies and procedures, directing performance and improvement activities, participation in management leadership team, as well as functioning as a clinical therapist to evaluate patient’s rehabilitation potential, establishing realistic goals, planning and administering a treatment program which best meets the patient’s individual functional capacity, and tolerance to achieve that goal. He/She ensures that all PT, OT and ST treatment and modalities are in accordance with established polices and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor Degree in Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapy from an accredited school
2. Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the applicable State Licensing Board
3. Long term acute care and rehabilitation experience is preferred;
4. Maintains current CPR
5. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills
6. Basic computer skills with minimal guidance

EXPOSURE RISK: Category I - Jobs in which required tasks routinely involve a potential for mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, tissues or potential spills or splashes. Use of appropriate measures is required for every healthcare provider in these jobs.
