KPC Promise Hospital of SALT LAKE: The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, organizes, and administers physical therapy services in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, regulations and guidelines to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is rendered at all times. The physical therapist maintains informative, accurate, and timely documentation and records management and works collaboratively with all disciplines, adheres to the professional standards of practice guidelines and code of ethics as set forth by the state board of physical therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a current State License as a Physical Therapist and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the applicable State Licensing Board
- Two years of experience, long term acute care and rehabilitation experience is preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical: Walking - up to 50% Standing - up to 50% Kneeling - up to 50%
Sitting- up to 25% Pushing - up to 50% Bending - up to 50%
Squatting - up to 30% Pulling - up to 50% Reaching - up to 25%
Lifting - up to 100lbs Wrist/Finger Movements - up to 90%
Mental: Stress Level: Moderate
EXPOSURE RISK: Category I - Jobs in which required tasks routinely involve a potential for mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, tissues or potential spills or splashes. Use of appropriate measures is required for every healthcare provider in these jobs.
