Job Description
As a Civil Engineering Intern at KPFF, you will work closely with our experienced civil engineers on a variety of tasks and projects, gaining firsthand insight into the consulting engineering field. You will have the opportunity to :
- Assist with the design and drafting of project components, including site plans, grading, and stormwater systems.
- Conduct field visits to project sites to observe conditions and support documentation needs.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.
- Learn and utilize software tools, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D, to prepare exhibits and design plans.
- The specifics of your responsibilities will vary based on the project needs and the team you work with, providing a well-rounded internship experience that connects your academic learning to practical application.
