Program Director
Candidate should have:
Experience in technology leadership, advisory, consulting, and program delivery. Experience of large, complex engagements and systems integration programs including budget management and program governance oversight.
Other:
- Has experience of ERP implementations; NetSuite is a must
- Has led teams of business analysts, project managers, delivery managers, etc.
- Has a v. good understanding of IT team structures, methodologies, cloud technology etc
- Has extensive experience of a range of project management approaches – hybrid, agile, waterfall etc.
- Can implement/change governance structures and operating processes to align business and technology requirements.
Program Project lead to help deliver an accelerated infrastructure change involving the ERP and Ecommerce platforms, plus associated impact to other internal processes/migrations as part of a shopping Cart infrastructure change. The program Manager will oversee how we are adapting the impacted platforms to meet specific business requirements, integrate a new system process with existing applications for seamless data flow, plan data migrations meticulously to prevent disruptions during transition, and plan/organize training materials and sessions to equip users with necessary skills. A core part of the role will involve creating the necessary governance and MI to help steer transparency of the delivery. This role reports directly to the Chief of Staff (who manages the ePMO) and to the project’s Steerco, comprising the CFO and COO.
Project Duration and Key Activities:
- Project Planning and Management: Creating and maintaining a comprehensive project plan that outlines the project’s scope, schedule, budget, and resources
- Stakeholder Management: Working closely with stakeholders to ensure the ERP / ecosystem system meets the organization’s requirements and objectives.
- Budget Management: Establishing a project budget, tracking costs, and managing project finances effectively.
- Risk Management: Identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Resource Management: Managing project resources, including team members, vendors, and contractors.
Additionally, responsible for documenting / overseeing any customizations to meet specific business requirements as a decision point for the sponsors, integrating the new system with existing applications, planning data migration meticulously, and providing training to or producing materials for impacted users.
Other experience:
- Previous experience of platform/shopping cart migrations
- Ideally with Netsuite & Big Commerce
- Within the EdTech industry is preferred but not required
Strong Leadership Skills
Own co-ordination of the working groups and ‘PODs’ (Smaller focused working groups)
Own the working group forums
Run project meetings and coordinate outputs, decisions, follow ups. Agree cadence and participation to ensure optimal effectiveness ii. Co-ordinate the delivery Managers already in place
iii. Obtaining signoff by the relevant sponsor / working group members at each delivery stage / decision points
iv.Clear documented sprint outcomes
- Monthly Dashboard / Storyboard production, detailing:
- Roadmaps
- Tracking issues via a RAID Log
- Monthly Milestone Tracking and Reporting
- Primary Presentation Owner
