Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with a strong focus on Sales Cloud to join our team in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications, ensuring quality in customizations, integrations, workflows, and automation within Sales Cloud. This role involves manual and automated testing, defect tracking, and collaborating with developers, admins, and business teams to maintain system integrity and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing on Salesforce Sales Cloud applications.
- Validate custom objects, validation rules, workflows, triggers, and automation (Process Builder, Flow, Apex Code, Lightning Components).
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans for Salesforce implementations.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Provar, or other Salesforce automation tools.
- Ensure API testing of integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems.
- Perform data validation and migration testing within Salesforce environments.
- Log and track defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or TFS, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Admins, and Business Analysts to resolve issues and optimize testing strategies.
- Work closely with business users to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Stay updated on Salesforce best practices, release updates, and industry trends to improve testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Salesforce QA testing, specifically focusing on Sales Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model, workflows, validation rules, and automation tools.
- Experience with testing Lightning components and Apex triggers.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Provar, TestNG, or Tosca for Salesforce applications.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or REST Assured.
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or TFS.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD processes.
- Strong SQL and SOQL skills for data validation and manipulation.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator or QA Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Provar Certified Tester).
- Experience with Einstein Analytics or Salesforce CPQ testing.
- Hands-on experience in Performance and Load Testing for Salesforce.
