Responsibilities:
- Experience in Design and development of seating systems (Foam pads, Seat trim outline, plastics, structures) using CATIA V6/ 3DExperience software
- Participate in Concept developments, Foam pad design & development and trim assembly activities
- Knowledge of trim development, materials and trim best practices
- Experience on new project launch
- Hands on experience in DFA, DFM evaluations for Trim, Foam, Metal, Plastic parts, Gap and Flush, GD&T
- Relevant experience in Master sections, Vehicle integration, Vehicle Packaging, Concept creation, assembly processes for various seat parts
- Hands-on experience on FMVSS & ECE regulatory studies
- 2D drawings creation with suitable tolerance scheme.
- Experience in release of 3D parts & 2D drawings in 3DX PLM
- Working with Tier-1 for acceptance, release & improvements
- Work experience in Catia V5/ V6 tool
- Collaborating with Cross-functional teams
- Co-ordinate with supplier resident engineer if required
- Must have Automotive Seating domain experience.
- Working experience in Automotive Seating development
- BE or BTech / M.Sc/ M.E in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Catia V5/V6/3DX, JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with 3D printing and MATLAB is preferred.
- Team player who is self-motivated and takes ownership of responsibilities.
- Agile in learning new and advanced skills.
- Possesses self-confidence.
- Works well in teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
