Associate Director, Professional Practice Support

KPMG is currently seeking a Associate Director, Audit to join our Audit Professional Practice organization.

Responsibilities:

• Implement professional practice activities, including strategy and direction, compliance and leading industry practices
• Oversee staff and provide direct support to partners and professionals with complex client acceptance, continuance, re-evaluation, independence, and partner rotation policy matters
• Drive implementation of leading industry practices to help enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the professional practice processes to facilitate timely, complete and accurate responses to requests
• Evaluate and monitor for consistent implementation of professional practice processes across assigned area of responsibility
• Drive implementation of new process and technology in area of responsibility
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum eight years of recent related experience with at least two years of experience in client service delivery within the Audit practice; minimum four years of recent experience managing individuals
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or relevant work experience
• Experience in research and able to think critically, work independently and as a member of a team
• Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook; open minded to embracing new technology
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. California Salary Range: $107000 - $227000
