KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Safety & Physical Security Services to join our Enterprise Security Services organization. This is a remote work opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Apply global comprehensive, specialist-level knowledge for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the physical security program and evergreen physical security risk assessments inclusive of a threat and hazard assessment; oversee the performance by any others of such assessments to identify credible threats to the location and therein employees, information, and assets of the firm
- Collaborate across firm security services, administration and office experience, real estate service, Office of General Counsel, Office Managing Partners, and others to assemble as well as keep evergreen unique site-based office security posture for each KPMG LLP office globally based on their assessed risks, and in adherence to the firm office safety management program
- Provide periodic security role specific practitioner, briefings and trainings; offer input to detailed site security awareness packages for customizations and use with the local employee base
- Maintain competency across interdependent organizations programs to identify coordination opportunities and facilitate timely referrals of office-based concerns to the respective security subject matters experts (investigations, risk, and other) for timely support or consultation
- Sustain an operational awareness of public and private sector resources necessary to support security programming
- Allocate key employee and/or event security services to the firm as assigned at the direction of Firm Security leadership
- Minimum twelve years of recent experience in senior law enforcement/other public or private sector security leadership
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Specialized leadership experience and training in developing, implementing, and managing corporate security physical security programs on a global scale required
- Exposure with office safety management programs preferred
- Strategic thinker with the capability of handling multiple, concurrent accountabilities; outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to direct, motivate and empower others to work towards the organization's goals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across multiple functions
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
