KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join our Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, calculate, and document R&D Tax Credits across multiple industries
- Work as a member of the engagement team to prepare and learn to review R&D Tax Credit calculation and supporting documentation
- Assist in performing multiple projects simultaneously, including taking notes during client interviews, preparing computations and analysis, data gathering, and writing technical memoranda
- Help drive the success of multiple R&D engagements
- Complete research and special projects as needed
- Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
- Minimum one year of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm or corporate taxation experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Access
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel and work at client locations
- Minimum three years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm or corporate taxation experience
