KPMG Assignment Select is geared toward independent professionals interested in temporary or project-based work. Our team is comprised of highly trained third-party professional individuals who are in the right place, at the right time, with the right skillset.

KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking a remote contractor in the United States.

We are seeking a skilled Writer to produce high-quality content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and marketing sales enablement materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit a variety of content, including articles, blog posts, press releases, and marketing sales enablement materials.
  • Conduct research to gather information and ensure accuracy in all written content.
  • Interview subject-matter experts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product development, to create cohesive and effective content.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content creation.
  • Proofread and revise content to ensure it is error-free and meets the highest standards.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving content and overall communication strategies.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of professional writing experience, with strong portfolio of published work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3 years of professional writing experience, with strong portfolio of published work.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail, ability to write in various styles and formats, including formal, informal, and technical.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise content.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and other writing tools.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to leverage GenAI tools to expedite the writing process.
  • Experience with SEO and content optimization, knowledge of graphic design and basic HTML, experience with content marketing and social media platforms, familiarity with content creation tools such as [specific tools, e.g., Grammarly, Hemingway, etc.] are preferred but not required skills
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment
