KPMG is currently seeking an Engagement Portfolio Specialist to join our Advisory, Sales Operations organization.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage portfolio view of engagement financials to reduce risk thru data and event driven interventions
- Partner with operations, engagement management coordinators, finance and accounting and other teams with a focus on understanding and assessing the risk in our portfolio
- Drive improvements in engagement management, as well as working capital, through process and system improvements/transformation, and programmatic support at the advisory level
- Team with Deal Through Delivery leads to identify and address areas of financial management concern; act as a subject matter professional for topics and initiatives related to engagement financial management
- Lead and participate in efforts around improving processes and systems related to engagement financials; lead and contribute to, and/or participate in advisory and consulting wide initiatives related to engagement management
- Participate across Deal Through Delivery efforts as a leader and team member; serve as the engagement management portfolio project manager and provide periodic program status reports as required
- Minimum ten years of recent experience managing or supporting engagement financial management, and five years of experience running a portfolio of engagement financials in a professional services firm
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
- Excellent communication skills and writing capabilities
- Proven ability to translate complex ideas and messages so they can be communicated effectively to a broad audience and leadership
