Responsibilities
- Design and implement detailed ETL testing plans and test scenarios to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data.
- Utilize Alteryx for the creation of test data models, conducting in-depth analytics, and verifying data transformations and workflows.
- Enhance the efficiency of the testing process using TOSCA automation tools, reducing the need for manual testing.
- Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to understand ETL specifications and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify, document, and monitor discrepancies or defects detected during testing phases, and work with developers for timely resolutions.
- Participate in design and review sessions, providing feedback on data models, data flows, and potential risks from a quality assurance perspective.
- Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and methodologies to enhance data quality and testing efficiency.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment
- Proven experience in ETL testing.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data preparation, analytics, and processing.
- Proficiency in TOSCA for automated testing solutions.
- Strong comprehension of SQL and hands-on experience with relational database systems.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, architectural frameworks, and operational processes.
