Event Planner – Contractor
KPMG Assignment Select is geared toward independent professionals interested in temporary or project-based work. Our team is comprised of highly trained third-party professional individuals who are in the right place, at the right time, with the right skillset.
KPMG is working through its partnership with Magnit and is currently seeking a hybrid contractor in Orlando, Florida.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and execute programs and events and manage logistics contributing to the development and delivery of a differentiated experience at KPMG Lakehouse
- Provide oversight of event-related systems; identify and secure all aspects of the event; create and manage event budgets and reporting; assist with on-site set-up, onsite management, and attendance
- Coordinate, plan, and manage all activities related to events and work closely with colleagues in other departments (operations, technology, production, and more) to coordinate on-site event logistics, and work with internal clients on event strategy, from pre-event planning to obtaining post-event feedback
- Execute stakeholder's strategic initiatives by developing meeting or event concept, goals, objectives, budget, and outcomes; build strong relationships with assigned stakeholder groups and with assigned program owners and sponsors to help ensure effective program service delivery and to help ensure successful outcomes
- Exhibit compliance with departmental processes pertaining to client communication, metrics, and timely post-event reporting, and identify and elevate risk management issues that arise with the planning and execution of a meeting or event
Qualifications :

Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including market data, ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), and specific location, for example. Additionally, applicants may be required to apply and become employed by a service provider utilized by KPMG, and final pay rate(s) and / or eligibility for additional benefits may be determined by such provider.
40-50 hourly (USD)
