KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Engineer I, (Lead GCP Cloud Engineer) to join our Digital Nexus organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and administer Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments that support our mission-critical enterprise systems, ensuring system stability
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for managing the GCP environment, enhancing operational efficiency
• Serve as a Cloud DevOps subject matter expert, driving innovation, and sharing knowledge across the team
• Create and update supporting documentation for processes and Cloud automated tools, promoting standardization and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate closely with the application team for the deployment of new and existing applications, fostering cross-functional teamwork
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of recent experience in Cloud DevOps, specifically with GCP environment management and engineering
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in computer science, information technology, or related field experience is preferred
• Experience deploying and managing enterprise-scale GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform
• Demonstrated ability to engineer/solution CI/CD processes in an enterprise environment, preferably using GitHub Actions
• Proficient in GCP products and tools, such as Vertex AI, Gemini models, Agentspace, NotebookLM, G Suite, and Model Garden
• Strong communication skills with the ability to create and update supporting documentation for processes and Cloud automated tools
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
