Support buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance to Fortune 1000 and middle market companies and private equity investors. Coordinate approach of client, KPMG's engagement teams, and third party diligence providers throughout the transaction process. Analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks, which impact valuation and negotiation of the target company. Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, achievability of management's budget, and indebtedness considerations. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Applying U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Financial Reporting Standards; Analyzing Securities and Exchange Commission financial reporting issues; Evaluating financial statements and identifying business drivers impacting revenue and cost trends; and Business development.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 20%.
Travel to various international locations required up to 20%.
