KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Talent and Career Development to join our KPMG Delivery Network organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination of various work streams to deploy a comprehensive Career Architecture for the KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) to include defining roles, skills, and competencies across KDN, ensuring a consistent language for talent development and progression
- Manage the successful development, deployment, and implementation of the Career Architecture within KDN to include overseeing content creation, ensuring timely delivery, and facilitating adoption across the network
- Prepare and facilitate project team meetings and workshops related to the Career Architecture to include taking minutes, tracking action items, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Provide strategic support to the KDN Talent Management lead in executing the overall Talent Management strategy to include contributing to the design and development of various talent management programs, such as performance management, talent development, and succession planning
- Contribute to the design and development of content to support the KDN Talent Management lead's portfolio; this involves creating training materials, presentations, or other resources to facilitate talent management initiatives
- Minimum five years of recent relevant professional experience in talent management principles and practices is essential; this includes experience with career development, performance management, talent acquisition, and succession planning
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's or advanced degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
- Experience in managing complex projects, often with cross-border and virtual teams; experience with project planning, execution, and tracking progress is essential
- Background of working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and KPMG member firm contacts; must have the ability to build consensus, navigate different perspectives, and influence decision-making is crucial
- Proven experience working in a complex international, cross-cultural environment, ideally within professional services; understanding global business practices and cultural sensitivities is vital; ability to prioritize, adapt, and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, international environment; flexibility and the ability to work effectively across time zones are key
