Responsibilities:
- Lead MDM and Data Governance Initiatives while overseeing MDM and data governance projects to integrate master data across various systems, managing all lifecycle phases and coordinating teams of 5 to 25 members.
- Drive MDM and Data Governance Strategies while utilizing sector-specific knowledge to design and implement MDM and data governance solutions, helping clients understand the broader MDM journey and its implications.
- Ensure Data Quality and Compliance by applying expertise in MDM and data governance principles, including data governance frameworks and practices, to ensure the relevancy, quality, security, and compliance of master data.
- Develop Client Relationships and Operating Models buy building client relationships through engagement, using data-driven approaches to design and review MDM/data governance target operating models specific to each organization.
- Evaluate and Enhance MDM Maturity by assessing current MDM and data governance maturity levels, develop structured strategies for capability enhancement, and communicate concepts effectively to non-technical team members.
- Apply MDM Solutions to business problems by addressing business challenges by applying MDM and data governance concepts, leading workshops and gathering information to evaluate readiness for data governance strategies.
- Develop MDM Platform Requirements while articulating requirements for MDM frameworks and tools; possess deep expertise in platforms like Informatica MDM, Reltio, Profisee, and advocate their adoption across teams.
- Engage in Technical Design and Project Leadership and perform technical design and development for MDM platforms, lead project teams, manage risks, deliver updates, and ensure successful project execution while cultivating strong client relationships.
- A minimum of three years of experience in MDM and data governance, or a similar field within a professional services firm, internal strategy/EDM group, or comparable environment. Experience in strategy and/or data management consulting is highly valued.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field from an accredited institution (Master's or MBA preferred), with knowledge in areas such as master data management, data governance, data quality, metadata management, data architecture, and enterprise data management principles.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing MDM solutions, paired with non-invasive data
- Strong business consulting acumen in MDM and data governance principles to solve business issues, coupled with a solid understanding of business operations, processes, and critical master data compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage engagements and interface with senior management internally and with clients. Significant experience in project management, client management, and executive communication (e.g., interviews, workshop management, business writing).
- Deep sector-specific or process-specific experience in MDM and data governance strategy, including best practices and regulatory drivers.
- Strong business consulting skills. Extensive project management, client handling, and executive communication capabilities (e.g., interviews, workshop management, business writing).
- Ability to travel as needed.
