KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate Program Control to join our Federal Advisory organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work side-by-side with Engagement Partners/Managers to manage engagement financial forecasts using firm-provided budgeting and forecasting tools; analyze project forecasts, including scenario analysis for staffing changes and cost benefit analysis for assigned clients; ensure accuracy of engagement and account level projections
- Report on all engagement financials and forecasting (such as actuals reconciliation, Estimate to Complete Estimate at Completion, pipeline/bookings forecasting); proactively communicate engagement at risk activities (such as Limitation of Funds notifications, profitability concerns and more); support monthly financial reporting and annual planning cycles
- Coordinate processes from opportunity to engagement award and manage engagement setup activities; correlate with other cross-functional teams on engagement and charge code setup (direct and indirect)
- Manage and coordinate with Engagement Managers on subcontractor setup, sub invoices, and subcontractor funding; proactively identify and reports any subcontractor funding risks to Engagement Managers
- Ensure timely invoice tracking; review and reconcile other direct costs, manage all expenses and proactively review prior to invoice submittal, to include assurance of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) compliance; provide recommendations to engagements leaders
- Maintains contract records and documents in accordance with policy; ensures contracts information systems (internal/external) are accurate
- Minimum three years of recent relevant professional experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or relevant experience
- Experience in providing financial tracking and support for in areas of Program Control, Finance, Financial Analysis, or Accounting and working with multiple cross-functional teams such as federal government subcontracts and subcontracts management, finance/accounting managing engagement budgeting/forecasting, contracts, Costpoint or Cognos
- Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic; team player with analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot tables and lookups
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
