KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Security Governance Risk to join our Enterprise Security Services organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data for compliance analysis; validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis
• Interpret data, analyzing results and provide ongoing reporting for compliance; present results in a clear and interesting way to help the firm analyze trends and noncompliance
• Perform Security and IT control testing; continuously monitor for noncompliance of IT and security controls using automated systems.
• Apply a fundamental understanding of risk to business functions to perform risk reduction and mitigation activities
• Perform control gap assessments on IT processes and report on results
• Advise and assist teams regarding compensating control alternatives where security requirements cannot be met; stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices related to security and risk
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of risk or security experience within a large professional services environment preferred
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
• Understanding of security principles, IT and security controls and related technologies and products
• Ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
• Strong verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; experience leading meetings and operating effectively in a matrixed environment
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. California Salary Range: $82200 - $168200
