KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Federal Advisory organization.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of the Enterprise Project Governance (EPG) maintaining KPMG's SPEED framework for technology delivery, based on standards such as CMMI-DEV ML3, ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27001, and National Institute of Standards and Technology Secure Software Development Framework (NIST SSDF)
• Onboard new projects to the SPEED framework, provide hands-on support to ensure successful implementation of best practices
• Analyze project data to identify historical trends related to schedule, effort, quality, and assist in root cause analysis for performance improvement
• Support project teams in risk management, including risk identification, root cause analysis, and development of risk response strategies
• Assist in the implementation of SPEED process improvements and transition to higher maturity levels (for example. from CMMI-DEV ML3 to ML5), including the adoption of new standards like CMMI-SVC
• Maintain and improve the framework's process asset library in SharePoint, ideally contributing technical experience as a SharePoint designer or developer
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development project-related roles, working in or with software development teams, experience with federal IT projects is highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; relevant experience
• Understanding of industry standards such as CMMI-DEV, ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27001, and NIST SSDF, with a willingness to learn on the job.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis and root cause identification
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
