KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist Director, Cyber MDR to join our Advisory Services practice.

Responsibilities:

• Co-lead managed detection and response (MDR) engagements
• Act as lead subject matter expert in KPMG MDR new client pursuits
• Contribute ideas to market positioning of our MDR service while driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Lead threat hunting activities across set of MDR Clients and support Incident Response activities
• Collaborate with Cyber Threat Intelligence on threat hunting design
• Work with on-shore and off-shore Directors to drive service quality in our MDR offering
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years support in MDR service AND/OR large Security Operations Center leadership experience and a minimum of three years' experience performing incident response AND/OR complex threat hunting
• Bachelor or Master of Science in engineering, computer science, cyber-security or similar, from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in lieu of degree; CISSP and/or cyber-threat management certifications.
• Hands on experience using EDR and SIEM solutions (e.g., Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Splunk, etc.)
• Experience or strong understanding of shared services, managed services and/or outsourcing in a Cyber domain
• Ability to travel up to 25% annually

California Salary Range: $153700 - $319000
