KPMGis seeking a Sr. Associate, Testing Consultant to join our Consultingorganization.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of software for productionrelease by creating and modifying test scenarios, executing test cases,analyzing results, and reporting quality issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledgeof testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance client testingstrategies.
  • Lead walkthroughs of testing procedures, createtest plans and case documents, review requirements and technical specificationsto gain a thorough understanding of the programs and processes to be verified,and develop testing resource requirement estimates.
  • Develop and execute tests both manually andthrough automation and create checklists to support various testing activities.Identify and create necessary test data to support the validation of softwaresystems.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry-leadingtest management, defect management, and test automation tools. Execute testcases, document results, and log software issues in defect management systems.
  • Coordinate with developers to communicate testresults and resolve defects. Generate traceability matrices and test resultreports. Develop and execute regression test cases, evaluate exit criteria, andprovide metrics and reports to assess testing activities' stability andprogress.
  • Develop client-ready deliverables such astesting requirement specifications and test plans. Lead small testing teams tomanage schedules, tasks, and progress against milestones. Take ownership ofindividual projects to ensure task completion.
  • Mentor new and junior testing staff, supporttesting across multiple environments (e.g., Web, Mobile), interact with clientstaff as necessary, and travel to project sites (local and throughout thecommonwealth) when required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience planning,preparing and executing test cases to validate software
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to perform thorough analysis ofSoftware Requirements documentation to confirm completeness and testability ofrequirements
  • Knowledge of systems development life cycleprocesses, including hands on experience creating testing cases, supportinguser acceptance testing, and reporting on status
  • Knowledge of Test Management and DefectManagement tools - Microsoft TFS and MTM is preferred
  • Knowledgeof Test Automation tools including HPE UFT, Automation Anywhere and Selenium
  • Travel as needed
