Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Assist in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, offering recommendations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred, with knowledge of mixology techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient in operating POS systems and cash registers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed.
- Must be of legal drinking age according to local laws.
