Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Provide information about menu items and specials to guests.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information regarding reservations and wait times.
- Utilize POS systems effectively for managing guest check-ins and tracking seating availability.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to help resolve issues promptly and courteously.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
- A background in food service or restaurant environments is beneficial but not required.
