Packers play a crucial role in ensuring our products are securely packed and prepared for shipment to our customers. This position requires a strong sense of organization, efficiency, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
- Pack items according to specifications provided by the company
- Inspect items to ensure they are not damaged or defective before packing
- Label packages appropriately
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Operate packaging machinery as needed
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency in packing operations
- Meet productivity targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a packer or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory purposes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
