Business System Analyst (Banking and Wealth Management )

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in the wealth management sector within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, demonstrating expertise in analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions that drive business growth and efficiency within wealth management. This role requires working onsite in our Tampa office three days a week, allowing for a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements for wealth management initiatives.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency, enhance client satisfaction, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct detailed analysis to support decision-making, including gap analysis, impact analysis, and requirements traceability.
• Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications for implementation.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a common understanding of requirements and goals.
• Support project lifecycle activities, including UAT, change management, and post-implementation reviews.
• Develop and deliver project documentation, including business process flows, use cases, and status reports.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices within the wealth management and banking sectors.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking domain, with a focus on wealth management.
• Proven experience in a hybrid work environment, with flexibility for onsite work in Tampa, FL.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and document complex business processes.
• Familiarity with wealth management products, services, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, as well as MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Agile/Scrum project environments.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to wealth management and banking.
• Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or similar are a plus.
