KPSG is based in Fort Worth, Texas with Engineering activities centralized in the Fort Worth facility (along with Finance, Human Resources, Customer Operations, Sales, and Installation Services), supporting product manufacturing in three locations: Fort Worth; Piney Flats, TN; and Goodyear, AZ.

KPS Global is currently are seeking an Associate Buyer to perform purchasing function for a single location to support the internal panel business, project business, and provide overall customer support in conjunction with the overall organizational goals.
- Places purchase orders for materials used in the production of panels and doors and various production supplies. Coordinates the delivery of these materials to the internal KPS plant.
- Maintains accurate records, notes, and transaction details via computer system.
- Provides direct assistance as required to the SC Sr Leadership.
- Coordinates purchases with Service, Installations, and Scheduling departments as needed.
- Develops stocking levels and ordering plans for commodities as identified by SC Leadership for responsible facility.
- Supports reporting systems such that effective and timely communications are maintained to management, project associates, inter-company department staff, and external customers.
- Consistently tracks and status of open purchase orders.
- Maintains inventory adequate to meet production demands while reducing waste.
- Monitors and tracks incoming shipments.
- Takes immediate corrective action on schedule conflicts or delays with respect to purchased materials and KPS product being built, shipped, and delivered to the customer.
- Handles all returned goods due to non-use, damage of all kinds, mis-shipments, and exchanges. When required will assist with the accounting ramifications of returned goods.
- Fulfill the financial control and risk management responsibilities inherent in the position.
- Conduct yourself in accordance with the Company code of ethics policy at all times
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related OTJ experience is preferred
- 0-3 years of experience in a buyer and/or materials control role
- Proven ability to take initiative, demonstrate a sense of urgency and intellectual curiosity, and identify opportunities for business growth and improvement
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively and remain detail oriented while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
