What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Counter Representative position at Kraft Tank Corporation?
The Front Counter Representative is responsible for general customer support related to parts inquiries and sales. The Front Counter Representative will interface with retail customers over the counter, as well as assisting with phone and email order requests. Strong organization and interpersonal skills are critical for success in this role.
Position Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls for the parts department at his/her branch location as well as overflow calls from other Kraft locations.
- Assist over-the-counter customers with parts needs.
- Daily support of customer call list to ensure proactive communication with customers regarding weekly/monthly order needs. This includes the delivery routes.
- Management of internet and digital marketing customer leads.
- Verify customer’s credit status is in good standing in Karmak prior to proceeding additional work/orders.
- Obtain formal authorization, (a PO and/or name, and signature) from all customers, and on all internal ROs, prior to work being initiated.
- Verify customer has paid in full, or is within credit limits, prior to release.
- Communicate with customer on parts order status.
- Follow-up with customers on daily orders to confirm delivery, receipt, and accuracy.
- Organize and restock the showroom.
- Additional responsibilities or tasks not listed here may be assigned by a manager as needed and those should be completed timely, to the best of your abilities, and with a positive attitude.
- Issue PO’s for local will-call orders.
- Ordering of promotional and marketing materials.
- Follow company policies and produces to include safety of customers, co-workers and self while in facility or while traveling.
