Position Summary:
Kraft Werks is a leader in innovative manufacturing solutions, committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team and support our growing IT infrastructure. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Kraft Werks' network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across all locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies, troubleshooting and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure and deploy LAN, WAN and wireless networks to support business operations.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and uptime.
- Manage network security, including firewalls, VPNs and access controls to protect company data.
- Conduct regular system audits and implement necessary upgrades to maintain optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate network solutions with business applications and systems.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, policies and procedures.
- Provide support and training to internal teams on networking best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in network administration, network engineering or a similar role.
- Physically capable of travelling to the various office locations, including out of state, to install and service IT equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration including Entra, Intune, Purview & Defender.
- Proficient in Windows Server including Hyper-V, AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO, File Sharing, IIS & Azure integration.
- Preferred knowledge installing, updating and configuring SQL server.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs and advanced routing.
- Experience with Cisco, Ubiquity, Aruba or other enterprise-grade networking equipment.
- Proficient in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding cybersecurity principles and best practices. Experience with MDR Huntress and Threat Locker is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Industry certifications with Microsoft, Cisco or equivalent are a plus.
