THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an Accountant to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly / quarterly / annual book closing including (1) posting month-end journal entries and (2) preparing balance reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual consolidation package and variance analysis, which are reported to HQ (Seoul, Korea).
- Implement and maintain entity-wide or finance-specific systems / tools (Kissflow, SAP, Concur, etc).
- Prepare annual budgets, monthly rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Work with organization heads to gather data and support financial planning needs.
- Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly managerial financial reports for management at entity level and / or organization level, providing analysis of variances from the budget and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Gather financial and operational data, analyze trends, and create presentations to summarize findings and recommendations.
- Respond to financial statement audit / review and tax filings by accounting firm.
- Handle technical accounting matters with accounting firm and HQ.
- Supervise any significant financial transactions (e.g. lease agreement or asset capitalization).
- Reconcile intercompany transactions & balances.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as necessary.
