Kramer and Frank P.C., the largest collection firm in the state of Missouri is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a newly created role. This role is designed to enhance our coordination and management of court dates across multiple departments and states. This role is vital in ensuring our litigation processes run smoothly and efficiently.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Inputs suit file information into system, schedules cases based upon court notifications, hires local counsel for court appearances and prepares court dockets with relative memos.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Accesses docket program to input suit file information, schedules cases in accordance with court notification received, reflects pares serviced with sequence of attempt, updates work screen, alerts affected office personnel to review files and submits respective docket instructions, hires local counsel.
2. Prints dockets and reviews service/instructions, defines/notes actions to be pursued, prepares appropriate court memos, assembles docket packets, and forwards to attorneys. Enters court hearing results, copies docket sheets, and distributes to affected office personnel.
3. Generates alias summons and forwards to individuals for further processing.
4. Provides assistance in receiving files and extracting documents for court processing.
5. Performs other dues and assignments as required with acceptable results.
SCOPE OF INTERACTION:
Interacts with office-wide personnel, internal and attorneys, court clerks, judges, and external attorneys.
EDUCATION, PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE, & SPECIALIZED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
High School Diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
