Job Description :
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance / Application Testing Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of the Illinois State Board of Education’s Web-based Illinois Nutrition Systems (WINS) and related applications. These systems are integral to the efficient administration of nutrition programs and services across Illinois.
The role involves both manual and automated testing, collaborating with development teams, documenting test results, and ensuring applications meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for software, websites, and applications.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to evaluate software performance and functionality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other team members to resolve issues and improve system performance.
- Ensure software and applications meet the Illinois State Board of Education’s quality standards and requirements.
- Create detailed documentation, including test cases, test results, and recommendations for improvements.
- Communicate findings effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Enter issues and defects as user stories or bugs into Azure DevOps for tracking and resolution.
