Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Platform Architect specializing in MuleSoft Transformations to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Data Weave, API design, RAML specifications, and end-to-end integration strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Develop integration architecture blueprints and roadmaps aligned with business needs.
- Provide technical leadership in API-led connectivity and microservices architecture.
- Define and develop RESTful APIs using RAML or Open API specifications.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure API designs meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Establish and enforce best practices for API management, governance, and lifecycle.
- Develop and optimize MuleSoft applications using Data Weave for complex data transformations.
- Utilize MuleSoft’s capabilities for system integration, orchestration, and message routing.
- Ensure optimal utilization of MuleSoft connectors, components, and custom solutions.
- Mentor and guide development teams in MuleSoft best practices.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integrations and APIs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand integration needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and QA, to ensure seamless delivery.
- Effectively communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- 8-10 years in integration architecture and development.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Expertise in API design (RAML, Open API) and integration patterns.
- Strong experience with Data Weave for complex data transformations.
- Experience in enterprise integration, API development, and middleware solutions.
- Proficiency in Java, JSON, XML, SOAP, and REST.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Proven leadership with a collaborative mindset.
Certifications (Preferred)
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or MuleSoft Certified Developer.
- AWS/Azure certifications are a plus.
