The Senior Technical Recruiter is a dynamic professional responsible for identifying, interviewing, and managing top IT talent. You'll collaborate closely with Sales and Business Development to fulfill both temporary and direct-hire placements.
Prior experience in the IT services or SLED (State, Local, and Education) consulting industry, as well as expertise in sourcing and hiring W-2 candidates (not just C2C), is strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify, interview, and evaluate candidates for client opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with IT professionals through networking
- Review and present resumes to clients
- Collaborate with the sales team to fill open positions
- Negotiate candidate pay rates
- Conduct in-person, phone, and video interviews
- Develop recruitment strategies using various tools and networks
- Fulfill positions across different lines of business as needed
Required Skills
- Proven experience in technical recruiting, focusing on IT talent
- Strong leadership and team management skills (onshore and offshore)
- Ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- In-depth knowledge of technical skills and IT roles
- Experience negotiating pay rates and managing contract-to-hire and direct-hire processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
